Our core development is CleanPlasma - the acoustofluidic-based preparation of high-quality blood plasma samples for diagnostic purpose.

By means of high-frequency sound waves (so-called surface acoustic waves), which are coupled into a microchannel, our CleanPlasma technology enables the continuous separation and purification of the liquid blood components (plasma with biomarkers) from the solid components (blood cells) - automated, gentle and efficient.

Thus, our CleanPlasma chip has the potential to replace the existing laboratory centrifuges and can even be directly integrated into diagnostic devices to enable a fully automated process flow.

MicroAcoustiX CleanPlasma Technology was awarded the IQ Innovation Award 2022 in the Life Science Cluster
